Developed for the application of ceramic mosaics to fibreglass and or existing surfracs including plymer bullnose and other copings to tiled pool surrounds. This Epoxy has excellent adhesive and thermal showck values, and easy application because of its thixotropic nature!
DENSITY: 0.7 (700G PER LITRE)
COLOUR: BASE – WHITE + HARDNER – GREY
Surface coverage: One litre per m² 1mm thick
APPLICATION:
Ensure substrate is fully cured and residue free, lightly abraded and free of dust, grease and water. Some porous substrates need to be primed with a thin film of epoxy primer/resin. Always sample test geltime (pot-life) under working conditions before catalysing larger quantities (larger volumes decrease pot-life). Do not apply at temperatures of less than 16°C. Sufficient time must be allowed for the Parabond Epoxy 421 to cure (5 to 7 days at ambient temperature or geltime at ambient temperature plus 3 hours at 100°C). The set product may be sanded within 24 hours at temperatures of 16°C and higher.
HANDLING:
Although designed to minimize skin irritation, the use of gloves and protective eyewear is recommended at all times when handling wet Parabond Epoxy 421. Harmful if ingested, consult a physician immediately.
